Maze Adventure: how a round works
Try Maze Adventure at your own pace and keep its objective in view. Move into the exit at the bottom right. The game counts the steps you take. Look at what changes after your first action. Read the objective before making your first input. Use the example below to understand a decision.
Bring this focus to a round
When a decision goes wrong, compare it with the common mistake described below. Start again only when you intend to leave the current round. Notice the feedback after each input.
Your objective
Move into the exit at the bottom right. The game counts the steps you take. The feedback beside the game helps you follow the round. Take a moment to understand the current position.
Follow these playing steps
- Start from the upper-left cell.
- Move through openings using arrow keys or direction buttons.
- You may also tap a neighbouring cell connected by an open passage.
- Reach the gold exit or generate a new maze.
Your inputs
Arrow keys, on-screen direction buttons, or a click/tap on an adjacent reachable cell. On a smaller screen, keep the active part of the board within view. Contact us with the game and device if a control does not respond.
Try this example
If a wall blocks the cell to your right, try another opening; the token cannot move through walls. Use the example as a guide rather than a substitute for reading your board. Keep the game’s format in mind.
A useful caution
Only immediately adjacent cells can be reached in one move. Take a moment to reassess the position before continuing. Take enough time to read a new position. If a game has a timer, learn its controls first rather than searching for them during the round.
