Understand the basics of Sequence Memory

Sequence Memory gives you a focused activity to play in your browser. Repeat every shown position in order. A wrong position ends the current session. Look at what changes after your first action. Begin with the solo mode shown on the page. Use the example below to understand a decision.

Build familiarity through play

Watch the feedback after an action. A message can explain whether the input was accepted or whether a rule needs attention. Make the next step deliberately.

What you need to achieve

Repeat every shown position in order. A wrong position ends the current session. An attractive position is not enough unless the goal is met. Take a moment to understand the current position.

From the start of a round

  1. Choose Start again to begin.
  2. Watch each highlighted pad without clicking.
  3. When the game says Your turn, tap the pads in the same order.
  4. A correct sequence leads to a longer round.

Input guidance

Use the on-screen controls with a mouse or touch. A careful first action helps you become familiar with the layout. Look at the feedback after the action.

Follow the example

For a sequence 2, 7, 2, tap pad 2, then 7, then 2 again. Repeated positions still count. Focus on why the action is allowed, not only its outcome. Keep the controls nearby.

Keep this in mind

The task is to remember order, not just which pads appeared. Take a moment to reassess the position before continuing. Compare the worked example with your own position. Use the reasoning, not an answer copied from a different board.
